Presented in the ATGC Training Room from 3-5pm by Barbara Jones, Case Manager, AIDS Taskforce of Greater Cleveland. Learn what community services are available and understand your eligibility for these programs.
10.29.08: Reducing Caregiver Stress in Caring for Oneself
Presented in the ATGC Training Room from 3-5pm by Trudi Kozak, RN; Nathan Gradisher and Erika Svitak, of the Hospice of the Western Reserve. CEUs are available for this presentation. Stress is usually associated with difficult events or situtations, but can also be caused by positive events. This program defines stress; identifies various caregiver roles; discusses stress-related components & ains; describes ways to prevent caregiver burnout; and identifies tools for successful caregiving.

This is a four part series taking place on November 11, 13, 18 and 20. Each session will be held from 2:00-3:15pm in the ATGC Oakland Room. Please participate in all four sessions. Presented by Sana Loue, Interfaith Ordained Minister and Director, Center for Minority Public Health. Learn a variety of spiritual practices and rituals to improve your health.

This is the first of three discussions in this series. Presented in the ATGC Training Room from 2:00-3:00pm by Barbara Marcotte, Community Affairs Manager, Bristol-Myers Squibb. This is an unbranded presentation. Project T.A.L.K. is an innovative program helping staff, case managers, and clients to identify actions towards positive changes that they wish to make in life choices or other issues they wish to improve in their life for health purposes. Clients and case managers will begin to understand what they know about the changes they wish to make and then how to take small steps towards positive change. This is an interactive session. You may participate in one or more sessions.

This is an interactive session that explores who to tell and how to tell them. This session includes role-playing and stepping through the decision process.
