10.23.2009 Join us on Friday, October 23 at the Powerhouse Pub on the West Bank of the Flats as local comedy troupe and Second City Alumni Friends With Benefits host a very special benefit performance for the AIDS Taskforce of Greater Cleveland called Put On Your Raincoats: Comedy That Requires Protection! Enjoy drinks and ATGC Celebrity Bartenders from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m., and the show starts at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are just $10.00 and all proceeds benefit the AIDS Taskforce of Greater Cleveland!

10.27.2009 Marigold Catering Company and University Circle, Inc. are teaming up to support the AIDS Taskforce with a Renegade Lunch at 12:00 noon. Chefs from Marigold will set up, prepare and serve a delicious, gourmet lunch at no charge on Wade Oval in University Circle (yes – outside in the middle of the oval!) Up to 24 people can be accommodated at this highly unique dining experience – bring your jacket and your appetite! Marigold provides everything – tables, chairs, linens, fine dinnerware and a lunch you won’t soon forget! Guests will be asked to consider making a donation to the AIDS Taskforce in the amount they would have spent on lunch that day.

10.31.2009 is the deadline for submitting a nomination for Voices Against the Silence this year. If you know someone who has truly gone above and beyond and made a significant contribution to the HIV/AIDS community in Northeast Ohio (community involvement, corporate involvement, advocacy, medical involvement and political support), please open this nomination form and submit along with a simple one-page nomination statement by the 31^st. Voices Against the Silence is a fantastic tradition at the AIDS Taskforce and a wonderful way we work to recognize our friends and partners in the community.
