These challenges can lead to overcrowded households, unsafe or unsanitary conditions, and even homelessness.
For persons living with HIV/AIDS, stable housing offers the best opportunity to access treatments and services that will make things much easier for themselves and their families. It has been estimated that nearly half of all people living with HIV/AIDS will at some point need assistance with housing.
